Our quaint, old style Norwegian dwellings with their grass roofs and enchanting rustic interior will transport you back to the days of old. Perfect for those who enjoy the camping experience but still want the convenience of a kitchen and the comfort and charm of an old fashioned Norwegian country dwelling.
The two properties listed below have electricity but no indoor plumbing. However, there is an outhouse conveniently situated nearby. Fresh water can be fetched from the stream (about 1m away).
Eldhuset
350 NOK per day, accommodates 4-5 guests
This is a delightful two room log cabin. The bedroom has two bunk beds and a small area for freshening up. Bedding is provided.Bedlinens and towels are available at an additional charge. The second room consists of a kitchen/living area with a wood burning furnace. The cozy eat-in kitchen is equipped with kitchenware, refrigerator, small stove, coffeemaker, and cleaning supplies.
Stabburet
350 NOK per day, accommodates 5 guests
This impressive Norwegian old-world Stabbur may have been built as early as the 16th century. Sleep like royalty in charming, traditional Norwegian kroneseng beds. One is large enough for two children and the other, a "double decker" kroneseng, accommodates up to four. Beddings for five people.Bed linens and towels are available at an additional charge. The living quarters consist of a dining table and well equipped kitchen with a small stove, refrigerator, freezer, coffeemaker, and cleaning supplies. There is also a small room which can be used for freshening up.
Nyhuset
180m2 ( The New House) Spacious, with a warm, light wood panelling, this fully furnished, beautiful house combines all the comforts of a modern home with the rustic charm of country living.
1000 NOK per day for five people, for extra guests there is an additional charge of 75 NOK per person, will accommodate up to twelve guests.
The master bedroom downstairs has an en suite bathroom (with shower/ wc and washing machine) and the two bedrooms upstairs have double beds, each with their own sink to freshen up. The upstairs also has a loft bedroom with a double bed and extra space for mattresses if needed. Bedding is provided.Bed linens and towels are available at an additional charge.
The living area has a lovely fireplace and a fine dining table made of solid pine which seats sixteen. The eat-in kitchen has a balcony and is fully equipped with oven, refrigerator freezer, coffeemaker, microwave, dishwasher, and TV. WC in the foyer
The open terrace, with its panoramic view, is a wonderful place to wile away those long summer days.
Leilighet - (The Apartment)
650 NOK per day, accommodates 5 people
The ground floor of the Nyhuset is available as a fully furnished, comfortable apartment with floor heating throughout. There’s a bedroom with a double bed and an alcove roomy enough for two people, with space for extra beds if desired. Bedding is provided.Bed linens and towels are available at an additional charge.
The living area has a fireplace and a cozy kitchen nook which comes equipped with utensils, linens, refrigerator, oven, coffeemaker, cleaning supplies, radio and TV.
Bathroom with shower/ wc, and washing machine.
